Personal Research Session
A good first step for your research in general (especially if this is the first time you’re undertaking a big project) is to begin with a Personal Research Session, which you can set up by heading over to this website: http://www.wesleyan.edu/libr/services/personalresearch.html.
Honors Thesis Writers Resource
The library has got its own pool of helpful information for those undertaking the task of thesis-writing. You can access it by going to: http://www.wesleyan.edu/libr/services/honors.html. Especially helpful bits worth noting are the sections on:
- Extended Library Borrowing Privileges
- Reference Services
- Honors Workshops
- Thesis Carrels
Olin has a bountiful supply of books, but no library can have everything. Thankfully, Wesleyan University is part of a library automated consortium called CTW, which facilitates a healthy flow between Wesleyan, Connecticut College and Trinity College to make up for books that are not present in the library. To find out further information on how to take advantage of this great service, head over to: http://www.wesleyan.edu/libr/collections/ctw/ctw-circ.html.
